Taylor’s Visitors’ Centre at Leitura Books & Living

November 25, 2009

Port wine is an excellent accompaniment to many desserts. Tawny Ports combine well with flavours of figs, almonds and caramel. Ruby Ports are excellent with fully flavoured cheeses, especially blue cheeses such as Stilton or Roquefort. But Port’s affinity for chocolate allows for all sorts of luscious combinations!

At Taylor’s wine lodges visitors pamper themselves all year round with the combination of Taylor’s Ports and Belgian Neuhaus chocolates.

Last Saturday -and following a very special invitation from our partner “A vida é Bela” (http://www.avidaebela.com)  – Taylor’s visitors’ centre went to the Books & Living bookstore (in Porto)  with the purpose of promoting  this exquisite combination!

During the afternoon, clients were invited by Pedro Dias to taste Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage 2003 and Taylor’s 10 year old Tawny with two of Neuhaus’ chocolates.

A charming experience that they can now replicate for the next Christmas dinner. Yum-Yum!

Clients were invited to pair Port and chocolate. A match made in heaven!
